Welcome to ZoZo’s at The Sugar Mill
We welcome you to join us for our 19th season on the beautiful island of St. John in the US Virgin Islands.
We are now located at Caneel Bay Resort, just minutes from Cruz Bay. Our beautiful setting invites our guests to experience dining within the ruins of a sugar mill built in the 1800’s. Among the stone walls and high-timbered ceilings, you will be able to watch the sun sink into the Caribbean as you enjoy some of the most highly rated food on the island.
Complementary valet parking is provided. Reservations are highly recommended.
We feature a comfortable lounge to relax and meet with friends or enjoy something to drink as your table is prepared.
We invite you to have a martini or a hand-crafted cocktail at our beautiful, centralized, circular bar which seats 20 guests. Reservations may be made for dinner at the bar, with our full menu offered, as well as dessert.
In the dining area, we have 120 seats and can easily accommodate large parties. Join us for a romantic dinner for two amidst the stonework or a celebration with friends.
Chef Michael Fortino
Chef Michael Fortino is entering his ninth season as ZoZo’s head chef and he has worked to again create a menu that attract diners from across the world.
Chef Fortino draws influences from recipes of his own Italian family and from the regions of Northern Italy, as well the Caribbean. He offers fresh local fish and produce, and imports cheese, meat, spices and ingredients from around the globe to ensure all flavors are best expressed.
Accompanied by Sous Chefs Greg Gaven and Sean Beauvais, this culinary team is excited to bring nightly specials to tempt diners to return time after time and continue the legacy that ZoZo’s has built.
Award Winning Menu
We are excited to present you with our new menu, where this season you will find a hint of Caribbean flavors as we honor our location.
We continue to showcase our house specialties and our most popular dishes like the Fresh Pappardelle, our Pistachio Crusted Local Mahi Mahi, or the favorite of many, our Osso Buco.
We make our own fresh pasta and bread, and we make our sauces, stocks, desserts and ice cream in house. We proudly use local fish and produce grown on St. John. We also offer gluten-free pasta substitution at no charge and vegetarians can find alternatives throughout the menu.
